The first dance song is one of the most emotional moments for the bride and groom at the reception. The lyrics of the song should have a great deal of meaning to the couple. Generally the first dance song is a slow tempo ballad, which makes it easy to dance to and sets a romantic mood.This does not mean that all dances need to be so traditional. Here at MairiMeDance, we can customise the perfect dance that best reflects your personality.
*Let the song reflect your personality
*Songs should last around 3-4 minutes
*Take your time, start lessons 3-6 months prior to the wedding
*Practice 10 minutes a day. This will make it much easier on the day
*Practice in heels and dress similar to what you will wear on the day
*Ensure the DJ/Band has the correct version of the song
*Most of all have fun!
