About Me
Where it all began...
I knew from a young age dance would be my life. At age 13 I attended Elmhurst Ballet School in London, where I learnt what it took to become a well-rounded dancer. However, due to my love of Scotland, I chose to further my studies in Edinburgh, where I excelled in all forms of dance. This opened the door for me to attend the prestigious Alvin Ailey School of American Dance in New York, where many well known performers, including Madonna trained. Here I had the honour of dancing alongside the Alvin Ailey Company in the very famous Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
My Career...
My professional career began not long after in Japan, modelling and dancing for a top clothing company, which gave me a taste of what was to come. From there I went on to perform in many shows all around the world, including the celebrated Sesame Street Live in Dubai and Germany, a variety of trade shows, big band shows and closer to home our much loved pantomimes. I then went on to further my career in what became one of my biggest loves, Cruise ships. I became a dedicated dancer to the sea for over 10 years where I was able to learn from highly renowned choreographers from around the globe. From this I gained the knowledge of performing diverse dance styles, bestowing upon me an extensive repertoire of styles and steps.
I enjoyed performing everything from early 20’s, Swing. Hip Hop and Jive to Ballroom, Ballet, Musical theatre and Tap.
Why Teaching...
I then met the love of my life, who I am marrying later this year. I couldn’t imagine getting up to perform our first dance as a married couple and not have the full attention of each and every guest. So I grabbed my fiancé and got to work. We had to create a performance that would capture everyone’s attention, giving them something to talk about for a long time. The fun we had choreographing our dance brought us even closer. The excitement, the laughter and the butterflies all came flooding back, like we had first met. It was from there I decided to dedicate my time to other couples giving them as much enjoyment as we had together.
Now, it is your chance to get together during a very busy and stressful time and just have fun. It is your chance to create something that resembles you as a couple which will stay with the two of you for the rest of your lives.
